Copic Coloring
Copic Markers are alcohol based markers that blend very well together. There are 15 copic color families. This page will show different copic color combinations that I've used in my card making. I'm pretty new to copic coloring so I will update this page as I learn more.
Copic Markers have a number system that is helpful for choosing colors that go well together. The first part is 1-2 letters designating what family that color is from. The second part is a number 0-9 that represents the saturation. Lower numbers means more transparent and higher numbers mean less transparent. The remaining number or numbers (0-9, 00, 000) is the brightness where the lower the number, the brighter the color is and higher numbers means darker.
Colors that are part of the same color family and have the same second number typically blend well together. For example, using B02, B04, and B05 would result in a good blend. To blend colors together, I normally color the entire section with my lightest color (in this case B02), then begin shading with my middle color (B04), and finish shading with my darkest color (B05). I then go backwards and use my middle color again and blend everything together with my lightest color.
