Flower Bouquet Valentine's Day Cards

For this card, I used flowers and butterflies from Hero Arts Bouquet Accessories Fancy Dies to create a Valentine's Day bouquet. For the paper to hold the bouquet, I used craft paper I found in my stash. For the bouquet itself, I cut out various flowers and butterflies from cardstock I found in my stash. I then inked up the edges using Altenew Crisp Dye Inks and Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink. I chose a dye ink color that was slightly darker than the cardstock I was using. I then used a Sakura Stardust 6 Clear Glitter Pen to line the markings from the die cuts to add more definition.

For the background, I used Simon Says Stamp Fog Ink and Simon Says Stamp Delicate Outline Flowers and then die cut the background using Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle StackablesOnce all my flowers and background were complete, I set them in the bouquet and glued them down using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue. I added a sentiment from Hero Arts Sending Love Mail Stamp Set embossed with Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder and VersaMark Ink on Papertrey Ink's True Black Cardstock. I finished the card by adding embellishments from Little Things from Lucy's Cards and glued the card base onto an A2 card front made from Papertrey Ink's True Poppy Cardstock.

With my leftover butterflies, I created these cards. For the envelopes, I used Simon Says Stamp's Fog Cardstock and Hero Arts Envelope Accessories Fancy Dies. For the newspaper, I used Neenah Solar White 110# Cardstock and stamped the newspaper print from Hero Arts Sending Love Mail Stamp Set and Tsukineko VersaFine Onyx Black Ink

I created the background the same way as the previous card and then glued the cardfront onto an A2 card base made from cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I embellished the cards with embellishments from Little Things from Lucy's Cards.

With my leftover flowers, I created these cards. I cut the card front from Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and then stamped the same newspaper stamp as the previous card. For the background, I used the same background stamp as before but used various grey ink pads from Altenew's Crisp Dye Ink.

I created several of each type of card and then donated them to Cards for Kindness. The products for these cards originally came out with the January 2020 My Monthly Hero Kit. Each year, customers vote for which kit should be added to their collection and this kit was one of the winners so the products are still available.
