Coneflower Mother's Day Cards

I created these cards using products from Honey Bee Stamps and Taylored Expressions. I created the flowers using Honey Bee Stamp's Lovely Layers Coneflower Die Set using various shades of cardstock from Taylored Expressions. The exact colors I used are listed below. I then shaded the flowers using various shades of Altenew's Fresh Dye Inks. Unfortunately I did not keep track of the colors I used. For the background, I used Taylored Expression's Weathered Words Background Stamp with Simon Says Stamp Shark Dye Ink onto Papertrey Ink's Soft Stone Cardstock . Northern Lights Background Holiday Card Sets

I created these holiday card sets using the  Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Classic August 2023 Card Kit . Hero Arts card kits are released the first Saturday of every month and they have several  subscription options or can be purchased individually. However, once a kit is sold out, they are no longer available. This card kit was nature themed and comes with dies to create trees lines, mountains, and canyons as well as embossing powders and cardstock, but I decided to use some of the dies for holiday cards instead.  For each card, I first stamped the northern lights using a stamp from  Hero Arts Northern Lights Polar Bears Stamp Set onto Neenah Solar White 110# Cardstock with VersaMark Ink and embossed the image with  WOW Opaque Bright White Superfine Embossing Powder . Embossed Vellum Cardfront with Copic Coloring

  To create these cards, I first cut an A2 card front from Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110# Cardstock and a sheet of vellum cut to 4.25" by 6" so that it was slightly taller than my A2 card front. I scored the vellum using a Scor-Pal at 5.5" and enforced the scoreline using a Teflon Bone Folder . I then stamped Simon Says Stamp's Hibiscus Blooms Stamp Set onto my white card front using Gina K Designs Obsidian Amalgam Ink using my MISTI .  Without moving the image in my MISTI, I stamped the sheet of vellum using Versamark Ink so that the stamp would align at the bottom of the vellum and heat embossed the image with Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder . I also stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from Altenew's Bouquet of Love Stamp Set to the vellum. To heat emboss on vellum without warping, I used a heavy weight vellum and constantly moved my heat tool while embossing so that it wasn't on one area for more then about a second.
