Colorful Paintbrush Cards for Crafters
To create these cards, I used various dies from Spellbinders Paint Your World Die Bundle. This bundle as well as the individual sets are on sale until August 28, 2022 as part of their Back to School Sale which has lots of crafting supplies for up to 40% off. Each card uses a sentiment from Spellbinders Paint Your World Sentiment Stamp Set stamped with Tsukineko VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.
To create this card, I cut the brush from Spellbinders Butterfly Burst Etched Die Set using Lawn Fawn's Craft Cardstock and Sizzix Surfaces Charcoal Opulent Cardstock. The bristles for the brush is from Lawn Fawn's Vanilla Malt Cardstock, which I used for all the brush bristles in this blog post. The leaves and tulips are from Artful Tulip Etched Die Set while the other flowers are from Spellbinders Be Bold Bloom Die Set.
I glued the paintbrush and embellishments onto Hammermill White 100# Smooth Premium Cardstock cut out using Lawn Fawn's Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Stackables Die Cut. I used Lawn Fawn's Guava, Raspberry, and Ballet Slippers Cardstock for the flowers and butterflies, Lawn Fawn's Cilantro Cardstock for the leaves, and embellishments from Little Things from Lucy's Cards Pearls Soft Primrose Mix. I made an A2 card base from Lawn Fawn's Ballet Slipper Cardstock and stamped it with My Favorite Things Brush Splatter Background Stamp using Gina K Designs Passionate Pink Premium Dye Ink.
For this card, I used the brush from Spellbinders Artful Tulip Etched Die Set with Lawn Fawn Craft Cardstock and Sizzix Surfaces Silver Opulent Cardstock. The butterflies are cut out using Lawn Fawn's Sunflower, Sticky Note, Fake Tan, and Apricot Cardstock. The embellishments are from Little Things from Lucy's Cards Pollen Sequin Mix. For this card base, I used Lawn Fawn's Sticky Note Cardstock and stamped it the same background stamp used above using Gina K Designs Wild Dandelion Premium Dye Ink.
The brush from this card is from Spellbinders Artful Brush Etched Dies and uses the same cardstock as above. To create the background, I used watercolor paper and Tombow Dual Brush Markers. For the card on the left, I used 195, 452, 493, and 685. For the card on the right, I used 055, 985, 925, and 725. I cut the panel out using Whimsy Stamp's Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle Dies. I also cut out the paint die on the brush from watercolor paper and used the same colors for each card. The blue card base is made with Lawn Fawn's Mermaid Cardstock stamped with Gina K Designs Blue Lagoon Premium Dye Ink and the yellow card base is the same card base as the previous card.
These cards are mini slimline cards which are 3.5" by 6". The dies used for these cards are Spellbinder's Painted Blooms Etched Die Set and Be Bold Blooms. For the card on the right, I used the same pink cardstock used in a previous card. For the blues, I used Lawn Fawn's Mermaid, Peacock, and Rainforest Cardstock. The leaves were made from Lawn Fawn's Cilantro and Noble Fir Cardstock.
