Cards By Ducky

For this card, I used flowers and butterflies from  Hero Arts Bouquet Accessories Fancy Dies to create a Valentine's Day bouquet. For the paper to hold the bouquet, I used craft paper I found in my stash. For the bouquet itself, I cut out various flowers and butterflies from cardstock I found in my stash. I then inked up the edges using Altenew Crisp Dye Inks and Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink . I chose a dye ink color that was slightly darker than the cardstock I was using. I then used a  Sakura Stardust 6 Clear Glitter Pen to line the markings from the die cuts to add more definition. For the background, I used Simon Says Stamp Fog Ink and  Simon Says Stamp Delicate Outline Flowers and then die cut the background using  Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables .  Once all my flowers and background were complete, I set them in the bouquet and glued them down using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue . I recently received an email from Cards for Kindness where they said they are in need of Valentine's Day Cards. These cards were quick to put together using  Concord & 9th Up Up and Away Dies . I used patterned paper in my stash from Altenew that I have had for years to make the balloons. For the background, I used a turnabout stamp from Concord & 9th called Bitty Burst Turnabout and stamped it twice using two different colors of inks from PinkFresh Studio . If you are unfamiliar with turnabout stamps, to use them, you place the stamp in a stamping tool such as the MISTI and then rotate the paper after each color to fill in the design as shown above. For my cards, I stamped directly onto a card base made from Neenah Solar White 110# cardstock .   To finish the cards, I stamped a sentiment from a retired stamp set from Clearly Besotted using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and paired the cards with a matching envelope.
